Limiting Distractions

 Limiting Distractions

Visual and cognitive distractions reduce attention to the road and contribute to increased collision statistics. To reduce distractions:

- Cell phone use must be limited to a hands-free setup with minimal user input required

- Resist the temptation to be distracted at the scene of accident sites

- Avoid staring at pedestrians or other drivers

- Do not eat or drink while driving

- Do not attempt to read or write while driving

- Do not wear headphones while driving

- Do not adjust navigation unit while driving

- Avoid excessive noise within the cabin space
