Reliable transportation

A huge part of facilitating family connections is the family’s ability to get together. No matter where the family members are in Alberta, we will get them where they need to go. No separation is too great for our professional driving staff to reduce the distance between family members to close enough for a hug. We will stop when needed, and yes, even change the occasional diaper!* All vehicles operated by our drivers are held to high mechanical, insurance, and cleanliness standards**. Person’s served will rest easy while safely rolling down the highway with one of our professional, courteous staff.

Rates

Kilometres Rate - $.55/KM - All drives are billed from the home of the driver, to every destination point, and end at the home of the driver.

Driver/Attendant - $25/Hour - This is all time spent, while not using one of the other main services. This is in addition to the Kilometres rate.

Supervision/Family Pres/Youthwork - $29/Hour - This is in addition to the Kilometres rate.

Overtime - This is billed at 1.5 times our regular hourly rates. Overtime is calculated on all time exceeding 8 hours.

Holiday rates - All stat holidays are billed at 1.5 times our regular hourly rates. Overtime does not apply.

Cancellation fees - All drives cancelled within 24 hours of departure are subject to a $75 cancellation fee.

Short days - All short drives/visits may be subject to a minimum charge of 3 hours. This also applies to virtual visits.

Documentation - Up to 1 hour may be charged for preparing a detailed, factual report for each visit.

Cleaning/Sanitation - Excessive mess made by the passengers (vomit, urine, faeces) may result in extra charges.

*diaper changing and other infant care items are only available when no parent or caregiver is escorting the infant.

**mechanical failure is sometimes unavoidable due to the nature of automobiles. Cleanliness may sometimes be affected by outside weather conditions, ie: mud, snow, etc.

***please note that every effort is made to ensure that drives are supported by the closest available driver to minimise costs. Sometimes the closest driver isn’t very close at all, and will require special approval before drive is scheduled. Occasionally, sickness or mechanical failure will result in a further driver than originally scheduled.
