Winter tires (new policy as of 2018)
- Winter tires are now mandatory between the dates of November 1 and April 15
- Winter tires must bear the mountain snowflake symbol. Some tires labelled M+S (mud and snow), do not carry this symbol. This symbol indicates that the tires meet or exceed specific levels of performance in snow and ice conditions.
